International Music Examinations

Music exams are more than just tests—they’re powerful tools that help students grow as confident, skilled, and well-rounded musicians.  Whether your child is just starting out or preparing for advanced grades, music exams can make a real difference.  Now leveraging the power of technology this music examinations can be done online.
I offer core programs aligned with international institutions and coordinate online performance and theory exams from my studio in Luxembourg.  The advantage of online examinations include:

  • Submit your best possible take—ideal for confidence and convenience.
  • Regarded with the same academic rigour and recognition, including UCAS points, as in-person exams.
  • Effectively supported by my digital studio set-up.

​I am affiliated and aligned with the following institutions:
ABRSM - ​Online performance and theory exams offered by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, one of the world’s leading music exam boards. The ABRSM offers a comprehensive adjudication of the skill level of music students through practical, performance and theory exams offering expert adjudication.  Exam submission online, flexible submission dates.
Trinity College London - Offers Digital Music Exams (online versions of their traditional graded (1–8) and diploma-level assessments) for both classical & jazz and rock & pop streams. Ofqual-regulated.
Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in Toronto - Offers a robust digital exam program that allows students to take both practical and theory exams online, giving them the flexibility to complete RCM assessments remotely.
​International School of Musicians (ISoM) - Offers live or recorded remote video exams, connecting students to certified examiners anywhere via ISoM's own digital platform.  Exams can be taken anytime from anywhere.  ISoM examinations align with the UK’s KS1/KS2 curriculum and follow robust, externally regulated standards.
Music Teachers’ Board (MTB) - Offers UK‑based, Ofqual-regulated online assessment system offering Grades 1–8, Performance Grades, Performance Diplomas, and theory exams via entirely remote digital submissions. The MTB aims to bring modern flexibility to music adjudication.
RSL Awards - Rockschool London (UK) - offers a versatile suite of online (digital) exam formats for both graded music exams and performing arts qualifications.

My two kids (11 and 14) and I are students of Mr Glen for 3.5 years. Our skills on Piano have skyrocketed since we joined him. We have started acing different levels of the very prestigious ABRSM certifications thanks to his hard work with us! Mr Glen is an amazing teacher with ~30 years of experience with several renowned accreditations having achieved some of the highest highs in music playing, teaching and using it as a tool for therapy for special needs students. It reflects in the way he adapts his teaching style to a beginner, intermediate or advanced student. Some of his students are 7 years old while some others are aged 50+.

Mr Glen is detailed oriented in all aspects of teaching piano - with equal focus on notes reading, rhythm, finger practice, music history and theory but most importantly having fun (in making songs your own by adding original creative variations). He guides himself by students interests and is always receptive to teaching popular songs of our choice. His own Piano and violin playing skills are par excellence and we get goosebumps every time he gets on these instruments! Its inspiring to watch him play and understand what "good" actually looks like.

​In general, Mr Glen is a fantastic human being, very welcoming, caring and flexible. We all enjoy his company and at times hearing anecdotes from his colorful past of a life well lived (not everyone gets to play for the Pope, especially when they are a teenager!) and how "life is a negotiation!".
