The gala evening will follow a feature gala performance of Hamlet, edited and arranged by Thomas Morgan Jones with direction by Michael Kelly. This 4-person Hamlet conceived by Michael Kelly and Thomas Morgan Jonesfeatures Kaleb Alexander, Tim Askew, Kerry Ann Doherty and Miriam Fernandes with set and costume designs by Lindsay Anne Black and projections and lighting by Mikael Kangas. |
THE TANGO PROJECT (Fiddich Productions)

The TANGO PROJECT will integrate modern accordion, painting, traditional and modern dance, Argentinian & French cuisines and wine.
Guest artist Maestro Marco Lo Russo (www.marcolorusso.com) is an internationally acclaimed Italian accordionist, composer, and recording artist and a leading international specialist in tango interpretation. Marco will perform a range of tango and tango-related music ranging from the traditional to modern stylings and interpretations. Marco is composing a tango specifically for this production which will be debuted at this production. The event will also host an art exhibit by guest painter Peter G. Goral, an outstanding international painter based in Dundas, Ontario. Fiddich Productions has commissioned an original oil painting, oil on canvas - "The Tango" reflecting the views and perspectives of all artists performing in this event. This work will be unveiled at this production accompanied by the newly written tango work of Marco Lo Russo. Get ready to bid, this piece will be up for auction. During select compositions, Sarah Felschow, dancer/choreographer will accompany accordionist Marco Lo Russo and Glen Cain, Toronto-based violinist to provide the audience an integrated perspective of the tango in its fullest form being composed of both music + dance + art. The Tango, an enticing, emotionally-charged experience. |

Fiddich Productions presents an Italian Autumn Harvest Arts, Food & Wine Event where we will pair live music, art, Italian wines, and an abundance of authentic, seasonal Italian cuisine prepared "a casa, just like Nonna" using the freshest of seasonal ingredients. Sample sauces, and preserves by "La Cucina di Marco" with a fresh selection for purchase.
Marco Lo Russo, internationally acclaimed accordionist/composer/recording artist, while visiting Toronto as part of his 2013 Eclectic Accordion World Tour, having performed in early October in Poland for the Pope, NYC at Universal Studios, and two concerts in Montreal will perform traditional and modern Italian music as well as Italian film music. Marco Lo Russo worked with Maestro Piovani in recording the soundtrack to "The Beautiful Life" ("La Vita e Bella"). Glen Cain, a Toronto-based violinist/pianist/arranger will perform with Marco Lo Russo contributing his zest and passion for Italian music. Peter G. Goral, international painter will be exhibiting his recent outstanding works in water, acrylic, and oil including a silent auction. Sean Moroney, Toronto-based photographer will exhibit his breath-taking wildlife and nature works. |
